‘Faces without Visage’ to vie at Photometria Photography Festival

Photometria Int’l Photography Festival in Italy is to play host to ‘Faces without Visage’ from Iran.

Hesam Rahmani’s short film focuses on the disease of dementia.

People suffering from the disease are disconnected from reality and some of them cannot remember faces and names.

Focusing on the old photos of an album, the director shows us people who do not have visage on their faces.

‘Faces without Visage’ was previously screened at the 17th London Short Film Festival (LSFF) in the UK.  

Earlier reports by ifilm have also announced that Iranian-Afghan short film ‘Elephantbird’ directed by Amir-Masoud Soheili and ‘Slaughter’ co-directed by Saman Hosseinpour and Ako Zand-Karimi will also attend the Italian film festival.

Photometria International Photography Festival is a competitive photography event that has recently added animation, video art and short films section.

The upcoming edition of the event is slated for June1-5, 2020 in Greece.
